David is a North London–based counsellor and therapist working with individuals and couples. His practice brings together psychodynamic understanding with a practical focus on the realities people face in everyday life. David has a particular interest in relationships, communication, and the ways patterns formed earlier in life can shape how we think, feel, and relate to others in the present.
Alongside his general counselling practice, David works extensively with adults and couples affected by ADHD. This includes supporting individuals exploring diagnosis later in life, as well as helping partners understand the ways ADHD can influence communication, intimacy and emotional connection within relationships. His approach is thoughtful and collaborative, offering a space where difficult experiences can be explored openly and at a pace that feels manageable.
Sessions are conversational and reflective, allowing time to think together about what may be happening beneath the surface of a problem. Some clients come with a clear issue they would like to work on; others simply know that something in life or in their relationships does not feel quite right. Therapy offers a structured space to understand those experiences more clearly and consider new ways forward.
Sessions are held in North London and online. Individual sessions are £90 and couples sessions are £150.
Appointments can be booked by contacting David through the website or by email, and further information about his work and availability can be found across his specialist sites, including N20 Counselling, ADHD Counselling UK, and ADHD Couples.
